This does keep the mask fabric off my face, and I think it would be good for someone who has to wear a mask for an extended time particularly if you have to verbally interact with customers a lot. It definitely works. However, I find it's only a marginal improvement. I've bought masks from this site and I find I just don't need this bracket as my masks fit beautifully. In hot weather, the plastic is a bit sticky and uncomfortable, and it does make taking my mask off and on a bit more fiddly, but overall, for five bucks it's a nice option to have.
